Albert Schweitzer Museum – Kaysersberg ceramic miniature

Handcrafted replica of Albert Schweitzer's birthplace, now home to the museum dedicated to him in the heart of Kaysersberg, one of France's most beautiful villages on the Alsace Wine Route.

Born on January 14, 1875, in this half-timbered house, Albert Schweitzer was, in turn, a theologian, musician, philosopher, and humanitarian physician. Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952, he dedicated a large part of his life to caring for the populations of Gabon, in Equatorial Africa. His birthplace, a listed historical monument, now houses a museum tracing his exceptional journey, set in a typical Alsatian courtyard.

Each piece is handcrafted and hand-painted, making it unique: slight variations in shape and color make each house an exclusive and authentic object.

This miniature can be used as a decorative item or as an incense burner. It makes an original souvenir of Alsace or a tribute to one of the greatest humanist figures of the 20th century.
