Miniature ceramic caterer-winstub-restaurant
Handcrafted replica of a half-timbered house typical of Alsatian villages, whose facade proudly bears the inscription "Traiteur Winstub Restaurant" (Caterer Winstub Restaurant) — a testament to the culinary tradition and conviviality that characterize the Alsatian way of life.
The winstub is an Alsatian institution: halfway between a bistro and a restaurant, it welcomes locals for generous dishes — baeckeoffe, choucroute, flammekueche — in a warm atmosphere of exposed beams and tiled stoves. These half-timbered houses, often dating from the 16th or 17th century, are the living heart of Alsatian villages.
Each piece is shaped and painted by hand, making it unique.
This miniature can be used as a decorative object or as an incense burner. It makes an original souvenir of Alsace or a gift idea for lovers of Alsatian gastronomy and heritage.
