Alsatian house Kaysersberg – Caveau de la Tourelle miniature in ceramic — handmade replica of a typical half-timbered house from Kaysersberg, one of the most beautiful fortified towns in Alsace, dominated by the ruins of its 13th-century imperial castle.
Kaysersberg, whose name means "the Emperor's mountain," became an imperial city of the Holy Roman Empire in 1293. The birthplace of Albert Schweitzer, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1952, it is now classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Each piece is shaped and hand-painted, making it unique: slight variations in shape and color make each house an exclusive and authentic object.
This miniature house can be used as a decorative item or as an incense burner: a tealight candle placed inside diffuses light through the windows and creates a warm and intimate atmosphere.
It makes an original souvenir from Alsace or a gift idea for lovers of Alsatian heritage.
