Handcrafted replica of a half-timbered house from Saverne, former residence of the prince-bishops of Strasbourg and an essential stopover town on the Romanesque Road of Alsace.
Saverne, crossed by the Marne-Rhine Canal, preserves many 16th and 17th century half-timbered houses along its pedestrian Grande Rue. The town is dominated by the Château des Rohan, an imposing 18th century neoclassical residence, and surrounded by the wooded hills of the Bas-Rhin.
Each piece is shaped and hand-painted, making it unique.
