Albert Schweitzer Museum – Kaysersberg ceramic miniature

Handcrafted replica of Albert Schweitzer's birthplace, now home to the museum dedicated to him in the heart of Kaysersberg, one of the most beautiful villages in France on the Alsace Wine Route.

Born on January 14, 1875, in this half-timbered house, Albert Schweitzer was in turn a theologian, musician, philosopher, and humanitarian doctor. A Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 1952, he dedicated a large part of his life to caring for the people of Gabon, in Equatorial Africa. His birthplace, a listed historic monument, now houses a museum tracing his exceptional journey, set in a typical Alsatian courtyard.

Each piece is shaped and hand-painted, making it unique: slight variations in shape and color make each house an exclusive and authentic object.

This miniature can be used as a decorative item or as an oil burner. It makes an original souvenir of Alsace or a tribute to one of the greatest humanists of the 20th century.
